If you are uninsured and want to know how to get health coverage under the new health law?

A new non-profit group, called Enroll America, has launched to help people understand what is in the 2010 health law and how to get access to its benefits. Click here to check it out.

Under the law, 32 million uninsured will be able to access to affordable health insurance through state health exchanges. If they can’t pay for the insurance, the government will help them cover their premiums. Given how much confusion there has been about what is in the health law, group’s like Enroll American will be key in helping get the word out on how to get health coverage.

The Washington Post’s Wonk Blog has more explaining Enroll America.

It says the group’s “single goal: getting millions of Americans, newly-eligible for affordable insurance under the health overhaul law, actually signed up. And if it succeeds, the health law could end up covering many more of the uninsured than the law’s authors — or its detractors — ever thought.”

Of course it’s important to know that none of these benefits kick in until 2014, when the portion of the law enabling people to get affordable insurance, goes into effect.
